Dr. Natalie Hess has been an ELL teacher and teacher educator for 30 years and has worked in six countries. She thoroughly enjoys her work, which is her avocation as well as her vocation. She finds much pleasure and creative energy in the ELL classroom and among ELL teachers.

The Yuma BME/ESL program offers courses for the completion of both Masters Degrees and Endorsements in Multicultural/Bilingual Educations and ESL. Both Masters degrees and Endorsements can have a bilingual or an ESL emphasis. The program also offers the SEI endorsement. (Spanish is not required for the ESL emphasis Masters Degree).

With our convenient schedule, most NAU-Yuma graduate students are able to complete endorsement and/or degree work while working full time.

We offer late-and early evening, week-end, web-based, and satellite classes to help you balance your busy life with your educational goals.
