List of things to put in a paper: - title - author - abstract - address - email - mathematics subject classification - key words - introduction - preliminaries - sections - definition - proposition - proof - example - figure with caption referenced in the text - cross references - references Things to look out for: - Use the AMS article style. - Use the built in spell checker. - Use a margin not larger than 1.5 inches. - Examples, Sections, Theorems are capitalized when you cross reference them. - Citations cannot be outside of a sentence, after the period. - A formula alone is not a sentence. In a paper everything must be a sentence. - Use \cdots between operations like "+ \cdots +". - Use \ldots between commans like ", \ldots ,". - Inline variable names must be in math modes.
