Change in Drop Date

Because the snow closure Wednesday resulted in several midterm
examinations being rescheduled at a later date, Provost Grobsmith has agreed with an academic unit's request to postpone the Drop/Delete date from February 6 to February 11, 2004.

This means that NAU students now have until February 11 to drop a course and not have a "W" on their transcript. This change is only for the
Spring 2004 16-week semester term.

Freshman Year Connections Newsletters

Over the next few months, we will be providing you with some in-depth information about supporting your student's academic and social success at Northern Arizona University. We will send you reprints of articles written for our first year students in our FYE 101 courses. Your reinforcement of the information in these articles will allow you to become more knowledgeable and empathetic with your students college experience in the year 2004, and give you an "in" for conversation with your son or daughter. We know you will look forward to reviewing these articles each week. This week's article is titled "Gearing up for Academic Success. To check it out click here! We will be running newsletters every week so you can keep up with what you student is studying!
