Online Journal Entries:
From Week 3 to the end of the semester, you are expected to write in the online journal. The purpose of this is to provide you with an opportunity to think critically about the texts before we discuss them in class, to respond to your colleagues' comments, and to use the knowledge you gain from the journal entries in class and with people outside of class.
Before class, post a paragraph on the readings that reflects your thought processes while reading the article. I do not want a summary, but a critical reflection on the readings.
After class, post a paragraph that reflects the discussions in class and that responds to one or more of your colleagues' comments online or in class.
This means that you will post 4 entries each week (2 for each class session). Don't miss your chance to participate in stimulating discussions.

The journal entries comprise 15% of your final grade. Missed entries will contribute to a lower grade.
