GEOGRAPHICAL GLOSSARY FOR MODERN CHINA
The following consists of basic lists of names and terms of Chinese geography that pertain to our subject matter in this course, which may, from time to time, be mentioned and referenced in our lectures and discussion on China - and perhaps in the other sections of the course as well. You should use your map of China, either from Vohra, or elsewhere (one likely source of geographical information would be on the web) to locate the geographical features and/or locations that bear these names, and learn them, as much as you can, by heart.
