The Flagstaff Kennel Club has been part of the northern Arizona community since the early 1970s. The club is dedicated to the advancement of purebred dogs, sportsman-like competition at dog shows and obedience trials, responsible pet ownership, and the philosophy that all animals should be treated humanely and with dignity. On top of that we do our best to have fun!

Please feel free to wander around and see what we're all about! Our meetings are held the first Thursday of each month. The General Meeting is at 7:00 and the Board Meeting is at 5:30. Both are open to the public. Check the Meetings Link for details!

If you are interested in membership, please contact Dick Manges our Membership Chair.

In addition to the all-breed show in June and the Conformation Fun Match in the spring, there is an Obedience Fun Match in the Fall. FKC also teams up with the Flagstaff Pet Assistance League (FlagPAL) to inform the general public about many animal care issues and also about the traits of the individual breeds. As many breeds as possible come to both the Pet Fair in the Mall and the County Fair near Labor Day. Talk about a crowd-pleaser! It's a great opportunity to share our knowledge with the public. We also distribute AKC educational publications at these events under our AKC mandate to promote pure bred dogs. The Flagstaff Kennel Club is also a proud sponsor of the K-9 Drill Team and the Paws To Read program.
