Flagstaff Train Station, built in 1926.  This tudor revival/chalet style station still serves Amtrak trains along the main line of the BNSF from Chicago to L.A.  Approximately 80 trains a day roll through Flagstaff, and that number is expected to approach 100 by 2003. This logging locomotive once served the logging industries around Flagstaff.  It has been lovingly restored (aesthetically) and placed on display at the Pioneer Museum on Route 180 north of Flagstaff. (Photo Copyright 2000 Bruce Petrarca)
