Cut and Thrust Rapier
This style of rapier play was prevalent during the 16th. C. The study
will include the teachings of Marozzo, Agrippa, Saviolo, and even Silver
as well as other masters.
Other equipment that may be used are daggers, bucklers, and cloaks.
"Ren" bladed rapier. Blade may be any length from 38 to 42". Swept hilt
Padded fencing doublet in an Elizabethan or Early 17th C. style. Pants
of the same time period.
Steel gorget and leather gauntlets.
Steel elbow and knee cops.
Steel fencing helm (18 gauge).
Leather boots or period style shoes.
