1. Discuss in your own words what zoologist Libbie Hyman meant with her description of echinoderms as "..a noble group especially designed to puzzle zoologists." What animals did she especially enjoy? What was her area of research? 1 point.

5. How does the madreporite location of a sea cucumber differ from that of other classes of echinoderms? 1 point.

6. Why are botanical terms used to describe some of the crinoid's anatomy? Give an example to illustrate your point. 1 point.

7. In your opinion, why do scientists find so many fossils of crinoids? Furthermore, why do you think crinoids were so common in the past and had such large body sizes, compared with present crinoids? 1 point.
