Ernest David Rumery is the first child of Samuel and 
Sylvia Rumery.

Leon David (1904). WI Delayed birth affidavit for
Sylvia Adelaide.  Forest Hills Cemetery Record, 
Chippewa Falls, WI. 

Anecdotal family history of Ernest David Rumery passed to
gr. grandson, Kenneth R. Rumery.  George Ernest Rumery's
brother is identified as David in family notes and we
inferred this was Leon D.

The 1904 marriage record confirms that Leon and David are
the same person. He is identified as "Dave" in the Forest
Hills Cemetery Record. Agnes, his second wife, lies in
grave (no. 4) and his first wife, "Lizzie," lies in grave 1
of the same lot (block 61, lot 4). George Ernest Rumery was
my grandfather whom I saw frequently as a child in Omaha. A
letter (16 May 2000) from John S. Bjerke, CCGS, identifies
Agnes as Agnes Donner Rumery.
