Use a linking phrase like “I am from” along with your lists write out a first draft of your personal narrative. We will read our first drafts aloud, rewrite borrowing ideas from our classmates, copyedit each other work, and then create the final product. At the end of the narrative, be sure to write a sentence or two that links their past to their present. It is o.k. if the narratives are actually poetic versus a formal narrative. (Printable Version)
