Sample Portfolio Introduction

This portfolio is product of my experiences, learning, and teaching during undergraduate teaching preparation through Northern Arizona University's Physical Education and School Health program. On the following pages, you will find my personal philosophy of teaching health and physical education, a resume, and honors and awards I have received. In addition to this information, scope & sequence, unit, and lesson plans can be viewed, as well as short video clips of me demonstrating specific teaching skills.

I have enjoyed putting this portfolio together and am reminded of many experiences every time I look through these pages. I hope you enjoy looking through this portfolio, and find that the work presented within helps inform you of the type of teacher I am, my vision of health and physical education, and the high standards I expect of myself in regards to teaching and learning.
