Little Barley

DESCRIPTION:

Annual monocot winter grass. Germination season is between September and November. Native and widespread in U.S.. Height ranges from 4 to 24 inches. Stems turn brown or golden in spring when grass is matured. It is considered to be an invasive pest by modern agriculturists. None of my research uncovered any domestic uses for little barley.
