Backsword/basket-hilted Broadsword
This style of swordplay was prevalent during the 16th C and 17th C.
The study will include the teachings of Silver as well as other masters.
Equipment

Backsword or basket-hilted broadsword or wooden waster in proper form.

Padded fencing doublet in an Elizabethan or Early 17th C. style. Pants
of the same time period.

Steel gorget and leather gauntlets.

Steel elbow and knee cops.

Forearm protection for the sword arm.

Steel fencing helm (18 gauge).

Leather boots or period style shoes.
