1. Using fig. 21-12A, explain the size differences in wing muscles of the grasshopper and flies. Speculate as to why this occurs. Some insects do not have wings. List five examples of such insects and explain how these insects move. Some insects only have one pair of wings. List two examples. What special adaption have these insects evolved for balance in flight? Find a web site that offers more information, and summarize your findings in one paragraph (see also p. 429). 5 points.
