| The search engine bundled with CF. Even the version which comes with CF 4.5 is powerful enough to index file directories' content and Oracle tables. Most importantly it performs the kind of fuzzy near-miss searches which SQL queries on their own were never meant to handle.
I discovered it while researching methods for improving the interface to the Digital Archives search, and more careful reading of the online docs showed that it did not require admin access to CF to set up collections or query them.
