Etiology

Neoplasia

 

 

 

 

Predilection

Greater in females

 

 

 

Location

Parotid Gland

Most common oral site palate

Clinical Appearance

Mass often painful

Surface may be ulcerated

 

Microscopic Features

Unencapsulated, infiltrating tumor composed of small deeply staining uniform epithelial cells arranged in perforated round to oval islands

Treatment

Surgical excisions

Radiation therapy
