Clinical Significance


History:

A fifty-five year old patient came to the dental hygiene clinic for routine care. He states that he is a rancher from southern Arizona. The patient's Medical History is within in normal limits. Extraoral finding include a 8x2 millimeter crescent shaped white macule with a 3 mm round white macule extending from the previous lesion on the center of the vermillion zone of the lower lip. Intraoral findings include an asymptomatic 3 millimeter round, flat, blue lesion on the alveolar ridge in the area of #18.

Case # 12 is refering to the extraoral findings.
