History: A twenty-year-old white male is in excellent health and has no oral complaints. He has never been to the Dental Hygiene Clinic. During a recent radiographic exam you notice an ill-defined radiopacity at the apex of the mesial root of #30. The patient remembered having his baby tooth extracted in the area.
