High-elevation weather station, Akhlun Mountains, Alaska


A transmitting weather station was installed in April 2008 at 900 m asl near Mt Waskey, in the Auklun Mountains (59.8°N 159.3°W).

The station is sponsored by:

US Fish and Wildlife Service, Togiak National Wildlife Refuge and the Wood-Tikchik State Park

In coordination with the NAU-NSF, South Alaska Project

Sensors are manufactored by Onset Corp and include: temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, upward radiation, wind speed & direction.

Data transition is by Upward Inovations.

   Hourly data are available as a excel spreadsheet.
