Student Behavior VignetteTo complete this assignment successfully, you should:
Write a vignette of a student who is acting in a manner that is a danger to self or
others. Then write out a behavior contract detailing how you will collect data, who
will be involved in the situation, the use of aversive or reinforcing stimuli.
Remember to access the Behavior Change Example and include all sections
appropriate to your student's behavior issues.
Excellent: Addresses data collection, using terms common to behavior modification; shows evidence of critical thinking -- analysis, synthesis, evaluation that is consistent with the student vignette or brief history. Consistency of thought is present, points are substantiated and develops a plan that appears to have potential for behavior change. Good: Addresses the ideas of a behavioral contract and provides plausible plans for behavior changes and some justification for beliefs or shows some evidence of reflective thinking through evaluation statements consistent with the student history.
