Let's Break the Ice

To complete this assignment successfully, you should:

Study the assignment carefully
Complete the assignment as directed

You registered in the Virtual Conference Center as part of your work in the last topic. Now I would like you to go into the Virtual Conference Center and get to know your fellow travelers in the class.

Please go into the EDR 610 Conference Center in the NAU Online Virtual Conference Center. Go to the item entitled, "Let's Break the Ice." There will you will find your name paired with that of another student, along with that student's e-mail address. Your assignment is to interview that student, construct a written portrait of the student, and post it to the Virtual Conference Center.

You might begin your interview by asking the student about his/her academic area of interest, research interests, personal interests and hobbies, and what he or she hopes to get out of this research class. Please post your "portrait" in the Virtual Conference. After you have posted your portrait, be sure to go in and read about and communicate with your classmates.
