General Comments:
Not very relevant to my major, but definately interesting.
I feel as if after taking this class that the material is relevant to all other areas of study. Therefore, the class offered insight to the past development of humans.
The instructor was excellent because she made me think critically about the subject
VERY NICELY DONE WEBSITE AND LINKS!
Although this was a web course, Dr. Smiley was always willing to help through e-mail. Not only with course content, but technical problems as well.
Very easy to get in touch with, organized materials well.
my first online course, and Dr. Smiley made everything very clear and made herself available.
The quizitives helped a lot to understand what I just read
The inquizitives are the most useful things along with some videos.
The inquizitives and class discussions both helped a lot. I could better understand the material when I participated in both.
I loved the quiz platform. It's so different from the regular blackboard one and it really makes a difference in what I learn.
Links to reserved articles and also to the videos was an excellent teaching technique. It helped relieve the monotomous reading of a single web site.
I liked all the optional and required links on the modules.
The instructor was very good at replying to mail sent and because this course was offered of the web it made it easy to communicate with her my problems and concerns.
I began the first week confused, lacking a lot of information, and intimidated by the amount of work but as the weeks went on the material became easier to read and understand.
