#1. Swimming
1. A lady is swimming in a competition. Her forearm is upward, ready to pull forward and her head is tilted halfway in order for her to breathe.
2. She has probably performed numerous dives in the pool as well as participated in other competitions. She has probably practiced every day in order to get her fastest time.
3. She is thinking she has to get her fastest time in order to win the race to receive a medal, ribbon, or trophy.
4. She will swim until all her laps are completed and hopefully win the race.
#2 Swimming
1. Wanda is taking her daily one-hour swim at the local YMCA. She wants to stay in shape and loves the water.
2. Wanda swam on her community swim team as a child but got away from it as she got older and other activities occupied her time. She has now returned to childhood loves to manage stress and keep in shape.
3. Wanda is thinking about proper breathing and all of the chores she must complete at home that day. She is a stay-at-home mom and she really just wants time to relax and time for herself.
4. Wanda will get the time to relax after her kids grow into adults. For now she will finish her swim, hit the showers, and head back to a life of changing diapers and reading stories.
#3 – Swimming

Jill is practicing her swimming strokes for the Olympics.
She is a 22-year-old who graduated from a university in

Jill has been swimming since she was 9 months old.
She rapidly moved through swimming classes as a child and started
competing at the city level at age 11. By
the time she was 14 she had beaten the record for that city for the fastest
crawl stroke. She was very
competitive in high school and was the most talented swimmer on the team.
She was offered a full scholarship to the university she attended in
3. Jill is thinking how she has to work a little on her crawl stroke so she is practicing now. She wants to get to the Olympics and win a medal. She thinks, I’ll never get to the Olympics if I keep kicking the wrong way. I must practice!”
4. She will go to the Olympics and win a gold medal.
#4 – Swimming
1. Kimberly is swimming towards the finish line. She has been training for the events all year and her hard work and dedication will only be depicted to the audience if a gold medal is won.
2. Kim has been swimming all of her life. She loves the sport like a family member and giving it up would be like giving up a piece of her identity.
3. Kim is thinking about the people in the water around her – what it will take to beat them. Her thoughts are rushing through her mind like the water that surrounds her burning muscles.
4. Kim will not win; her hard work will seem useless and a waste of time. The time, effort, and dedication all lead to failure.
#5 – Swimming
1. A woman swims practice laps at the local rec center. She loves to swim and it provides an effective escape from all of life’s troubles.
2. Shannon (the swimmer) has had a rough day. She had just gotten a few exams back but she didn’t do very well on them. Upset, she heads off to the pool to release a little stress.
3. She continues to contemplate what exactly she was thinking as she took those exams. Maybe next time she’s have better luck. “Oh, well, no use crying over spilled milk I guess.”

#6 – Graduation
1. Mom hugs her daughter Cynthia. She’s so proud she graduated from Yale. Paul, her stepson is irritated because he graduated, too. How come she gets a hug and not him? He scowls. Mom is irritated that he wants a hug.
2. It all started 10 years ago when Mom remarried. Cynthia and Paul were 17 and both going to Yale but then there was always competition between Cynthia and Paul for their parent’s /stepparent’s affection.

#7 – Graduation
1. It’s graduation. They are college students – two friends and the girl’s mom.
2. Four years of college. They just threw their hats and the parents come onto the field and they find each other. But the guy is still needs to find his family.
3. Mom is so proud. The guy wants to find his friends and family because he wants recognition. The girl is happy.
4. They will take pictures and he’ll find his friends in the end and his family and they’ll hug. They all go out and get drunk at a party to celebrate.
#8 – Graduation
1. Kara is graduating from college and her mother is congratulating her. The elderly lady looking on is a friend that helped Kara with her classes.
2. Kara has had a difficult time in her life. Her brother Kurt died while she was in high school, and she suffered from an eating disorder. Her mother is so proud of her being able to pull through it all and complete college.
3. Kara’s mom is thinking how blessed she is to have her daughter and the lady is taking in the love of the two and Kara is thinking of her brother Kurt.
4. Kara will work as a teacher in an inner city school to help kids with tough situation make it through school.
#9 – Graduation
1. A group of people have just graduated from college. You can see by the looks on their faces that they are happy, sad, and nervous about having to face the real world.
2. They have been through years of schooling and they are happy that it is all over.
3. The thought that is going in the guys mind is that he is worried that by graduating the girl, that is hugging the other girl, won’t want to be with him anymore.
4. The future for these two is unknown. They both may have plans but no one is for sure of what is in the future.
#10 – Graduation
1. College graduation has just occurred. Rachel and friends are overcome with joy.
2. Rachel was a slacker in high school with a low GPA and when her dad lost his job, to afford college seemed hopeless.
3. This moment was never supposed to happen. Rachel overcame all the odds and now is ready to start her life.
4. Rachel will become very successful in what she chooses to do.
#11 – Laboratory
1. A lady and a man, who are both scientists or experimenters, are conducting an experiment to find a cure for a disease.
2. They both attended a lab and were instructed to pour mixtures in order to find other cures.
3. The teacher is instructing the student on how to form substances in order to find a cure for the unknown disease, thus resulting in both getting a medal and/or recognition for saving so many lives.
4. The two people will form a theory on how they fell upon the cure for the disease, patent it, and become famous.
#12 – Laboratory

Dr. Harvey is testing
2. She has been showing symptoms of this disorder so Dr. Harvey suggested they test her. He said he’d test her blood but she wanted to watch so he lent her a lab coat and she is watching in anticipation.

4. She will have the blood disorder but she will not die. She just has to take pills twice a day and her symptoms will stop and her disorder will be under control. She will be relieved.
#13 – Laboratory

2. This is Doug’s first experiment. Mary has been doing this for six years now.

4. She will realize he doesn’t catch the mistake he’s making. She tells him to stop and suggests to the lab instructor she wants him to be replaced.
#14 – Laboratory
1. Dr. Russell looks at Boe as he fumbles with the materials in his lab practical. He knows the material but when he enters the room his mind is filled with confusing thoughts.

3. Boe is thinking about if he really wants to be a doctor. Is all this stress going to lead to the profession that he really wants?
4. Boe will continue to follow the path that his parents set out for him unaware of his own desires. Once he does succeed he will recognize that the success is not as sweet when you aren’t achieving your own goals.
#15 – Laboratory
1. John and Lisa are doing a chemical experiment. John is stirring the solution and Lisa keeps time on the wall.
2. John and Lisa decided to work together as lab partners because they were assigned lockers right next to each other. So they perform each experiment together and share the data that they collect.
3. John is stirring the titrate and waiting for it to change color as he noticed a slight color change when he dropped in .01 ml. of solution. Lisa thinks that John should put in one more drop.
4. John will put in one more drop of liquid to see if it changes color and how long it takes before it changes color or precipitates.
#16 – Star-gazing
1. Joey is searching for a star to name after Rachel. He heard that you can adopt and name a star, and he wants to do something special for the woman he loves.
2. Joey has had an interest in astronomy since he was a child. His interest in Rachel, however, blossomed in college. He wants to propose marriage as the two have been together for four years.
3. “Where are you? Where are you?” Joey thinks as he searches for the perfect twinkle of light in the sky with his high-end telescope. He wants to find just the perfect “Rachel” for his love.
4. Joey will find that star and present it with a proposal to Rachel. Rachel will say, “Yes,” and the two will live happily ever after until death parts their bodies, like in a fairytale.
#17 – Star-gazing
1. Bobby looks closely through the lens of his telescope. He observes a massive asteroid headed this way. He is awe struck by the sight of this massive object that is about to destroy everything.
2. By some strange coincidence, the planet Earth crosses into the trajectory of the asteroid. By an even stranger coincidence Bobby is the only person who sees it.
3. “Man, this is such a drag,” says Bobby. He doesn’t want to cause a panic but tells the authorities what is happening. He is laughed out of the police station. Angry, he goes back to his spot and continues to watch the asteroid.

#18 – Star-gazing
1. Tom is using a telescope to gaze at the universe (stars).
2. Tom has been infatuated with stars and the universe since he was little, and since tonight was supposed to be a solar eclipse, he came prepared.
3. Tom is thinking that the universe out there is extraordinary. He wants Mars to move closer to earth so he can see it.
4. Mars will be more visible and Tom will get that glimpse.
#19 – Star-gazing
1. What is happening is that a man is looking up at the night sky through his telescope. The person is a sixteen-year-old man who is very interested in the stars.
2. What has led up to this is that he took a few classes on earth and space science throughout junior high and his first year in high school and he really enjoyed it so he bought a telescope for himself to do this.
3. What is being thought is whether or not this is just a hobby or whether or not this is a possible career choice for him. What is wanted is that he wants to most likely do this for the rest of his life. This is being thought and wanted by this sixteen-year-old.
4. What will happen is that this boy will decide to pursue this as his career. What will be done is that he will major in this and get a degree in it.
#20 – Star-gazing
1. I am looking through a telescope at the lunar eclipse.
2. I love the stars and have always wanted to see a lunar eclipse. So on this night my girlfriend and I are watching it.
3. I’m trying to focus it the best I can so Brianna can see it perfectly. Also, I hope we both have a wonderful evening watching stars by the campfire.
4. We will see the lunar eclipse perfectly and then we have a romantic conversation in the fire light.
#21 – Running
1. A lady and a man who are athletic are participating in a marathon. Their fists are clenched and they look determined to win and out run each other.
2. They have practiced for the event for a year in hoping to be the best they can be to win and not faint in the process of running the marathon. They have practiced so much to succeed and get the best time.
3. They are thinking they need to reach the finish line before each other in order to succeed in winning the race. They both want to out run each other; however, the fastest will only achieve the trophy.
4. The lady who is in front will beat the man and have the glory of winning the trophy. She shakes hands and does not gloat or give a victory speech.
#22 – Running
1. Kim and John are running. They are racing to see who is the fastest of the two.
2. Kim and John have been best friends since high school but have always been extremely competitive with each other. This morning Kim and John went to breakfast together and they got into an argument about who is a faster runner. Kim bet John that she could make it to the ocean’s edge faster than him. If she didn’t reach it before him, she would pay John $50. He accepted the bet, they went home to change, and met back at the restaurant they ate breakfast at. Now they are racing.
3. Both are thinking that they are going to win. Kim in thinking, “Yes, I’m ahead of him! Now if I can keep up this pace, I’ll have that $50 in the bag!!” John is thinking, “Oh, no, she’s getting ahead of me! I better pick up the pace or bye bye $50!”
4. They will reach the water’s edge at exactly the same time. Neither will pay the other money, they will both then go see a movie together, and still argue about who is faster (but in a friendly way).
#23 – Running
1. Cynthia and Frank are racing home as they were finishing up their daily walk. Things have been competitive lately as Frank is losing his identity to age.
2. They’ve been married for 14 years. Frank ran track in high school. He’s one of those guys who lives life as if they were still in high school.
3. Cynthia thinks she is in better shape. Frank is sexist. He doesn’t want to lose to a girl. She wants respect. He doesn’t want to sleep on the couch tonight.
4. Frank will give in to his wife’s wishes and the fact that she is quicker. They will be together another 16 years before Frank suffers from a heart attack.
#24 – Running
1. Bob and Cindy are training for a marathon. Cindy is determined to beat Bob.
2. Both Cindy and Bob worked on the police force. Bob bet Cindy that he was faster than her, so she challenged him to an upcoming marathon for cancer.
3. Cindy is determined to show Bob up once and for all. He is always trying to act macho and she wants to prove that she is better at running than him. Bob is a little scared because he can see that Cindy has been training harder and might beat him.
4. Cindy beats Bob in the marathon and surprisingly Bob is a good sport about it. After the race they go out together for a drink to celebrate.
#25 – Running
1. Kara and Tom are doing their daily workout. Kara takes her running very seriously and has even competed and Tom runs with her to maintain his health status.
2. Kara and Tom have been friends for a long time. They have a lot in common; running is one commonality. Tom runs with Kara to keep her motivated and also for his own health benefits.
3. Kara wants to run a good time. Tom is thinking Kara is doing well. He’s keeping time with the starter clock in his right palm.
4. Kara will beat her time from two days ago by 10 seconds and she’ll be happy but will want to improve more. Tom will encourage her to get some rest and do a light workout the next day and do another harder workout the following day.
#26 – Skydiving
1. These are five people who just jumped out of a plane in hopes of completing a test for the Air Force or some affiliated society.
2. They have practiced so not to be afraid and then ushered into a plane, the pilot told them they had to complete the task in order to become an Air Force technician.
3. The people are thinking they wished they hadn’t signed up for the course and want to go back in time when they agreed to the idea of a mission and task. They are now fearing for their lives and wish they could get out of the terrible situation they are in.
4. They will land safely on the ground and will shake hands since they passed the teat/mission and are granted into the elite program.
#27 – Skydiving
1. A group of professional skydivers are skydiving and they brought their boss along (who has never actually skydived before but he is still their boss). Jim is the boss and he is the one with no helmet on.
2. The group of professional skydivers were throwing a bachelor party for their boss, Jim. He was getting married the next day. They decided to blindfold him, dress him in diving clothes, and take him up in the air so he could finally experience the adrenaline rush they experienced every day.
3. Jim is thinking that he’s going to die. He is scared out of his mind. Plus, he lost his grip, breaking the circle of skydivers and is now drifting away from them. One of the professionals notices the terrified look on his face and says, “Don’t worry! Just pull the cord on your vest when you are about 500 feet away from the ground!”
4. Jim will drift back to the group and will finally start to appreciate the feeling of flying, something his employees have been trying to tell him about for years. Jim gets hooked on the adrenaline rush and decides to go skydiving with his wife as part of their honeymoon. This becomes a favorite pastime for the couple.
#28 – Skydiving
1. A bunch of people are skydiving and making a circle. The people are everyday people looking for a thrill.
2. They planned months in advance for the thrill of their life. Each person had a smaller reason for the present situation; they have boring lives and skydiving is some sort of release or way of feeling alive again.
3. The ones already connected in the circle are concentrating on not getting hurt by landing. The one outside of the circle is focusing on getting attached, completely forgetting about the landing.
4. They all make a huge circle that will eventually have to be broken so they can open their parachutes and land individually.
#29 – Skydiving
1. Nate, Rod, Jeff, Carl, and Susan are expert plane jumpers. They have been doing this for years.
2. They all love the thrill of the rush that comes from jumping out of a plane into the unknown space below. Falling towards the ground is exciting to them.
3. They are all concentrating on creating a formation. They are a team and each move must be carefully done to avoid an accident.
4. They complete the formation of a circle successfully and soon break in order to pull their chutes. Another exhilarating jump to mark in their books.
#30 – Skydiving
1. The team of skydivers are taking a jump to practice a routine for an upcoming show.
2. Up to this situation the team has always been united and contained the same goal. Have fun and do what makes you happy. The team believes if you can accomplish this you will have no regrets in life.
3. Steve is the only one in the picture who is not connected to the rest of the group. He has other things on his minds besides the jump and the performance. He is going to be a father and his priorities are going to have to change.
4. Steve will need to leave the team, separate himself from what he loves. “Fun” is no longer a priority. He has to do the right thing and care for the child he helped create and the new team that he is developing.
#31 – Surgery
1. Surgeons are doing an operation. These persons are surgeons – doctors.
2. This is their profession. A person needed this. In the past someone went in and it was decided for them to get medical treatment.
3. The doctors might feel nervous and very concentrated. They want this surgery to be done and for everything to come out good.
4. They will keep operating and everything will turn out well.
#32 – Surgery
1. Surgery on a dog that was hit by a car on the freeway. Three veterinarians are in the picture trying to save Simon the golden retriever.
2. Simon was hit on the back half of his log and shattered the bone in three places. Doctors are positive they can fix the injury. The driver of the car is really shaken up and very freaked out by what happened.
3. Doctors are thinking this dog will easily make it and have a successful recovery and by the way who is paying for the bill? Doctors want the surgery to go great and for the dog Simon to recover fully. Simon wants to live and misses his family. He is only thinking about his family.
4. Simon will recover fully after four months of therapy and his surgery went without complications. Simon was reunited with his family and they are happy that people saved him. Insurance covered Simon’s medical bills and the driver was relieved to hear about Simon’s recovery.
#33 – Surgery
1. Dr. Spane is performing a bypass operation on his patient Joe Drugg. Joe Drugg has been a patient of Dr. Spane since he was married. The two nurses are assisting the physician in keeping the chest cavity open and some of the veins clamped.
2. Joe Drugg has never been very good at eating healthy foods. Despite Dr. Spane’s persistent warnings and suggestions of eating a low fat diet along with exercise, Joe Drugg has not followed his suggestions and suffered a heart attack last week. Joe Drugg agreed to have this operation when emergency room doctors informed Dr. Spane that his patient has two blocked valves.
3. Dr. Spane is thinking that the first valve bypass went successfully. The second is a little harder, but he can get Nurse Beverly to lift up a couple of valves while Nurse David clamps the target valve, he may just be able to perform the procedure. Nurse Beverly is thinking about the doctor’s instructions over so she can get it just right and Nurse David is concentrating on keeping the clamp down.
4. Dr. Spane will be successful in the bypass surgery and he will again warn Joe Drugg against eating fatty foods and not exercising but Joe does not internalize what just happened and he will continue to eat his favorite meatballs and fries.
#34 – Surgery
1. Lora is a surgeon and in the picture she is trying to do a successful heart transplant. This is one of the most difficult operations she has performed.
2. Lora has been through many years of schooling. She is in major debt and will pay it all back soon. Lora is a very determined individual.
3. Lora is afraid. In the back of her mind she thinks her patient could die. She is very careful and wants everything to turn out right and okay.
4. Lora will monitor this patient monthly. The operation was a difficult one but did turn out successful.
#35 – Surgery
1. Dr. Johnson and Dr. Mary are attempting open heart surgery on a six-year-old child with a defect.
2. Both doctors attended Harvard Medical School and are very dedicated to their practice. The six-year-old child was born with a defect that was recently detected.
3. Dr. Johnson is concerned and wants to finish the surgery as the child’s blood pressure is dropping. Dr. Mary is confident that the surgery will go just fine and wants to continue. Neither has voiced these thoughts.
4. The surgery will be a success and the child will be just fine. The parents will be incredibly grateful to the two doctors and the doctors will feel appreciated.
#36 – Mountain Climbing
1. Donna and Marge are rock climbing. Marge doesn’t think that she’s able to climb but Donna encourages her to keep going.
2. Donna had gone rock climbing before and asked Marge if she would like to try it. Marge agreed and went. They went to a local climbing spot and started climbing. They were joking around saying they were going to drop each other.
3. Marge is scared being high to the rock but with Donna’s encouraging words she keeps going. Donna wants Marge to succeed! So she keeps telling her to keep going. She knows Marge can do it!
4. Marge will climb all the way to the top and she will keep rock climbing whenever she gets the chance. Donna is happy and climbs after Marge. They have a good time.
#37 – Mountain Climbing
1. A couple trying out a new hobby.
2. The two seem very disorganized. There is a lot of slack on the rope and the man (bottom person) doesn’t seem to trust the rope with his wife (or partner’s) life with how he looks at it. His wife is struggling to reach the top. Maybe their every day lifestyles got trivial and they needed something to raise their adrenaline levels.
3. The man is worried about the height and stability of the rope, but desires to push on for the sake of an adventure. His wife seems to have a greater desire for adventure and is struggling hard but determined to receive an accomplishment to add some kind of meaning to her life.
4. They will reach the top and earn the achievement they went after, maybe even go on to another daring event/act since they don’t seem to enjoy this one if the risk was taken away.
#38 – Mountain Climbing
1. A woman and a man are mountain climbing. The woman is further up the tope than the man.
2. The woman and the man have trained and progressively improved their skills at mountain climbing.
3. Both the woman and the man aspire to climb Mt. Everest one day so they train regularly to conquer their aspirations.
4. The man and woman will continue to train until their endurance and skill have prepared them for Mt. Everest.
# 39 – Mountain Climbing
1. Julie and Jim are rock climbing in Boulder, CO.
2. They both took an expert climbing class and were practicing their new learned techniques in class.
3. They both are a little nervous, but excited that they are trying out the new techniques.
4. They both climbed to the top and realized the new technical technique was successful. They will continue taking classes from the same school.
#40 – Mountain Climbing
1. This is Sally and Greg and they are climbing the Grand Canyon.
2. Sally has always wanted to do this but she is scared of heights and Greg has done this many times.
3. Greg is amazed at how high Sally has gotten so fast. Sally is amazed and proud of herself. She now hopes her fear of heights is gone forever.
4. Sally will lose her fear of heights and become a frequent climber with Greg.
#41 – Studying
1. Willis is studying for his finals in World History.
2. Well, he took World History because he loves history and thought it would be an easy class.
3. Now he’s scared of getting a bad grade or failing the test, so he studies an hour every day. He wants to pass his final with an “A.”
4. The night before his test he crams and over sleeps the next day. He misses his final and ends up getting a “D” in his class.
#42 – Studying
1. A 12-17 year old girl finishing a homework assignment.
2. She is copying from her notes (the 3-ring binder) on to a test of some sort. She focuses mostly on the folder though she has a book to her right. Very relaxed arm on desk not supporting head so this is just a weekly activity for her – nothing big. She has a lot of discipline so she is definitely intelligent in how she needs to get things done. There are no symbolic articles around her so she must be in a library.
3. She is concentrating on the moment looking at her hand write what needs to be said. She wants to do her work accurately. This is seen by her trained discipline in the matter. Her own self-worth is her motivation.
4. She seems to be so relaxed which shows confidence, so this is just another activity for her to complete and most likely she will pass since she has all the required material she needs to relate to.
#43 – Studying
1. A male student approximately 14 years of age is doing his homework on the dining room table at his home.
2. The student has learned to establish a quiet place to do his homework where he can concentrate on his studies.
3. The student is thinking about doing well on his studies so he will succeed in school. He aspires to proceed to college.
4. The student will successfully complete his studies and then relax before retiring for the evening.
#44 – Studying
1. Larry, an eighth grader, is studying hard for an exam that will be given the next day in his geometry class.
2. He has gotten all A’s on his previous exams and wants to continue his A grade, so he is studying very hard.
3. He knows if he continues to study, he’ll get an A on the exam because he wants the A.
4. Larry received an A on his geometry test and was happy. This helped him to receive a full-ride scholarship to a university.
#45 – Studying
1. This is Jake and he is writing a research paper. All the books on the table are some of the references that he is going to use.
2. It is the middle of his junior year in high school and every year it is required by the English classes that a research paper be written. Every year Jakes fails but this year he is determined to pass.
3. Jake is just hoping that all his effort will pay off in the end.
4. Jake will do a good job on the paper and received a “B.” He now knows that hard work pays off.
#46 – Kayaking
1. One day Mike was dared to go kayaking in the ocean.
2. Mike was always known as the scared one, so some of his friends dared him to go kayaking without any lessons at all. Mike takes the dare and does so.
3. Mike is terrified but he will not show it to his buddies. All he thinks about is bad thought. “What if this or what if that happens?”
4. Mike overcomes his fears and does excellent! His friends cannot believe he actually did it and they party the night away.
#47 – Kayaking
1. A daredevil canoeist decides after practicing for three years that he would like to illustrate his talent to the world and canoe right over the edge of Niagara Falls.
2. His mother continuously told him he should stay away from dangerous sports. Instead of obliging, he decides to go against her wishes and participate in an extremely dangerous recreational activity.
3. The young man is petrified, although he is already in the midst of his dangerous feat. His mother is watching on television, praying that her son isn’t killed.
4. He approaches the end of the river and can just see the drop-off. He uses his skills and maneuvers himself in such a way that when he does touch ground at the bottom of the waterfall, he survives without a scratch. Along with the world, his mother is proud.
#48 – Kayaking
1. Allan Reed and his best friend are kayaking on the Mississippi River. They are doing a #7 rated point. Allan is in the lead and getting himself mentally prepared for the big waves and rocks ahead.
2. Allan and his best friend (Jake) have been kayaking since adolescence and have trained for this specific run for 6 months. They have been all over the U.S. doing runs, some with guides and some without.
3. Allan and Jake both are really excited about this trip. Allan is thinking that he has made it halfway at this point and can’t wait to see what lies ahead. Jake, not in the picture, is thinking out a route they should take to get safely around the boulders ahead. Both are clear headed and calm, although their adrenaline is rushing.
4. Allan and Jake will make it safely along the river to the end. Jake will hit one boulder but be fine from the hit. After they load the car back up and take a few pictures, they will go to a local pub and down a beer or two, eat some burgers, and talk about their first #7. Then, they will plan out #8.
#49 – Kayaking
1. That is me at age 16. I am white water rafting down the Colorado River in a kayak. I have a few friends ahead of me, and a few friends behind. We are all having fun on our 12-day trek down the Colorado.
2. I was a participant in a program for Adventure Discovery. I was one of the lucky 20 chosen out of 400 people. This was a way for my psychiatrist to show me ways to have fun without drugs.
3. I am surprised at how much fun I am having. The thrill of each current, not knowing what will happen next. My adrenaline is pumping. I feel high – a kind of high I’ve never gotten before – no drug is like this – I want it to go on forever.
4. I will continue to go down the river and at one point my kayak will flip over. I will be terrified, but a senior counselor on the trip helps me and I am fine. It is at that point I realize I don’t want to die – and life is too good to pass up.
#50 – Kayaking
1. Kelli is fighting the fierce waves out in the Pacific Ocean in her kayak.
2. Kelli has always had a boring life, especially since she grew up in Oceanside, CA, right off the marina. She has never been surfing or scuba diving, so she decided to try something exciting.
3. She is a little scared because she has never done this before, especially since she is by herself. However, she is having a great time, and she doesn’t want it to end.
4. Kelli will come back to shore a new person. She will always want to do something new and exciting. Next week she is going parasailing!
