 BME637 : The Class : Gangs : Final Exam

Final Exam December 10 at 12 noon and will end on December 11, 2001 at 12 noon. Please select only three (3) of the four questions below.

1. Discuss the effects of the September 11th attacks on the issue of cultural diversity in the classroom and in the United States at large (One to Two substantive pages MAX, and be precise).

2. Compare and discuss the concept of Culture by Quinn (Ishmael) vs the concept of Culture as viewed by Anthropologists.

3. Lupita and Veronica (Carrasco's Case Studies) are two female students...one in an BL classroom and the other in a regular all-English classroom. What two things do these students have in-common, and what are the practical implications of these two studies?

4. Briefly review Luis Rodriguez' Always Running and specify one particular passage that delivers the author's main message and explain it.
