Course Description:

English 411: Diversity and Cultures is an examination of how we articulate culture and what we understand as cultural code. We'll use rhetorical frameworks as influenced by cultural studies, literacy studies, and visual studies. We'll focus on cultural traditions, history, and perspectives of nature. We'll also work collaboratively with English 521 on a few ideas and projects.

You'll be required to do primary research through NAU's special collections and archives department as well as keep up with the assigned readings.

You're also required to attend class. There are no make-ups, no extra-credit.
