The Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, which organized the first two conferences and retains overall organizational control of the conference and its publications.

Northern Arizona University, which provided facilities, refreshments, a banquet, logistics, grant administration and accounting. Delegates from several departments and programs took part: History, Anthropology, Center for Sustainable Environments, and Latin American Studies.

The Mexico North Research Network co-sponsored the first conference in the series, and provided networking and contact assistance on both sides of the border for this one.

The Hopi Tribe provided delegates and hosted a two-day field trip for participants.
