ETC 695 Module 1 Assignments

Assignments for Module 1 will be accepted as noted below.

**Students who choose to participate for two semesters will complete all assignments through Week 8
during the first semester of the course, leaving the project implementation and further writing (through Week 16)
until the second semester.**

Assignment Due Date

1. In the VCC share a brief biography;

2. Begin Portfolio development: gather documents for Section 1;

3. Attach a formal letter of application to an email to Becky to take ETC 695 that includes:

list of coursework;

self-reflection about career goals, current experience with technology, strengths gained from program, evaluation of your program expectations, commitment to the online learning environment

2. Readings: VCC available for questions and comments on readings and Section 1
Week 1: Begins January 12, 2004 Participation

1. VCC available for questions and comments on Section 1 documents;

2.Contact the 2 other students on your Capstone peer review team;

3.Review the Capstone Proposal Guidelines;

4.Visit FolioLive to see previous students' portfolios, proposals

5. Begin writing Capstone Proposal draft in APA format
Week 2:Begins January 19, 2004 Participation

1. Continue Portfolio development: gather documents for Section 2

2. VCC: questions about artifacts and reflections

3. Write draft 1 of your proposal, and send it to your peer review team members (cc Becky) for feedback
(reviewers: send comments by Wednesday of Week 4)

4.VCC available for questions and comments on your proposal
Week 3: Begins January 26, 2004

due by the end of Week 3
(weeks end in this course on Sundays at 12:00 AM) Participation

1. Continue Portfolio development: write reflections for artifacts (at least 2 paragraphs of your in-depth, thoughtful commentary about the artifact and why it is meaningful to you: challenging, the best, the worst, shows the most growth, learning...)

2. Email completed Proposal to Becky

3. Begin gathering research for Literature Review of your Capstone project content

4. VCC: questions about Literature Review
Week 4: Begins February 2, 2004 Participation
