Directions:

In the following assignment you will be describing the role the assessment plays in each step of the IEP as well as the role that you can play in ensuring that the assessment is as accurate as possible.

• For each of the steps describe:

• The role of assessment in the step.

• What your part is in the step

• How you can help the evaluator in this step.

• How you can help the student in this step

• How you can minimize bias in this step.
