One of the major areas of difficulties for teachers, administrators, and other public school employees is the interaction of IDEA and section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act. These laws are at the same time both complementary and contradictory.

In this lesson, you will visit a site that summarizes the similarities and difference between the two pieces of legislation. Focus your attention on only these two laws (the site does include the ADA also).
