My teaching and research interests are in the areas of intercultural communication, cultural studies, critical rhetorical studies, media criticism, feminist theory and criticism, and environmental communication.

My current research projects focus on the role of indigenous rock art (petroglyphs and pictographs) in the contemporary cultural landscape.
