Description:  This resource provides tips for an online facilitator on how to promote community formation. The web article indicates how a  dynamic atmosphere can develop in an online class when participants interact and communicate with each other and in groups, and the collaborative efforts of the participants can create an enhanced combined effect compared to the sum of their individual efforts. While I was reading the case study of Sheryl, I was struck with the prospective of her being uncomfortable with community formation on her discussion forums. Searching through the websites I found this website, which  gave me articles that had tips and ideas on how to go about with these possible problems. The  different issues of  community formation and what setbacks may be there are highlighted  and explained to make it easier to understand.
