Description:  This resource, by Audrey Choden discusses the roles and skills needed to be a successful Online Facilitator.  The article describes not only the roles of an online facilitator, but the skill necessary to become successful at being a facilitator.  This article also describes the challenges that an online facilitator may face.  It also gives many other sites to visit for helpful tips.  I felt that one of Sheryl’s difficulties was not responding to some of the needs of the students and helping them to feel comfortable with the course that they were all involved in.  This article is something that would help all of us in the teaching and learning process of becoming an effective online facilitator.  Stephanie's Evaluation Tool
