Textile Society of America Biennial Symposium

The Textile Society of America is an organization created to provide a forum for the exchange and dissemination of information about the historic, cultural, socioeconomic, artistic, and technical aspects of textiles, drawing from archaeological, ethnographical, historical, and contemporary examples.

The TSA sponsors a symposium every two years. In 2000, the theme is "Approaching Textiles, Varying Viewpoints." Members will be meeting September 21-23, 2000 at the historic hotel La Fonda in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Besides professional presentations at the hotel, site seminars will be held at area museums, galleries, and other venues, and related tours will be conducted both before and after the symposium.

For information about the symposium and/or TSA membership, contact the Textile Society of America, PO Box 70, Earleville, MD 21919-0070 (410) 275-2329 tsa@aol.net
