This picture shows an Apache Plain or Tizon Wiped (wiped sherd, no decoration) sherd from Black Canyon Rockshelter located along the Mogollon Rim of Arizona magnified at 16X. Notice the poorly sorted, sub-angular, medium to coarse quartz/feldspar temper. Also, notice the black, and slightly vitrified core.
