Family and Community

Assume the role of either a PE teacher, HE teacher, elementary classroom teacher, school nurse, school counselor, or school principal.

In a word processing document, write and save your ideas on the following concepts. Describe how you would involve the family and community in addressing one of the following health risk behaviors of youth:

1.Lack of physical activity

2.Poor nutritional eating habits

3.Use of tobacco

In your answer, demonstrate that you have read chapter 4 of the text and are also using at least two web sites. Be specific. Limit two pages.

Then go to your online portfolio. Find the item labeled, "Family and Community." Open this item, and in the blank space provided, copy and paste your paper.

Then press the "Publish" button to post this assignment to your portfolio.
