Topic 4: Physical Education

Purpose: The purpose of this topic is to investigate the role of Physical Education in K-12 schools and its relationship with the other 7 components of Coordinated School Health.

Objectives: After completing this topic, the student will be able to
1. Describe the essential functions of a Physical Education (PE) Program.

2. Describe and give examples of how to integrate PE into the other 7 components of CSH.

3. Outline and be able to implement the action steps for implementing PE in a school setting.
