Topic 6: School Health Services

Purpose: The purpose of this topic is to investigate the role of school health services in K-12 schools and its relationship with the other 7 components of Coordinated School Health.

Objectives: After completing this topic, the student will be able to

  1. Describe the essential functions of school health services.
  2. Describe and give examples of how to integrate school health services with the other 7 components of CSHP.
  3. Outline and be able to implement the action steps for implementing health services in a school setting.
