Topic 3: Linking Health to Learning

Purpose: The purpose of this topic is to review the National Education Goals and examine the relationship between children's health and their ability to learn.

Objectives: After completing this topic, the student will be able to:

1. List the 8 national educational goals.
2. Describe how a CSH program relates to two of the national educational goals.
3. Summarize the research reviewed in Chapter 1 that demonstrates the value of a CSH program.
4. Describe the 6 characteristics of a CSH program
