Needs Assessment

In a word processing document, write and save your thoughts and ideas on the following questions. When this is completed, post it to your online portfolio, under the title, "Chapter 1 Needs Assessment."

List the 8 components of CSH and describe what each consists of and what each component is designed to do?
What does YRBS stand for, and who conducts the YRBS?
What has the CDC/DASH identified as the 6 key health risk behaviors that have the most negative impact on health? Which of these have immediate negative consequences for youth and which behaviors often begin as youth but don't have negative consequences until later in life?
If you were able to obtain the health problems as well as the health risk behaviors for your state and community, how do they compare to national statistics?

When this has been done, post the assignment in your portfolio under the title, "Needs Assessment."
