Purpose: The purpose of this topic is to investigate the role of state government in the promotion and support of Coordinated School Health.

- Describe the essential functions of state government relative to CSH.
- Describe and give examples of how the state department of education supports and promotes CSH.
- Outline action steps that could be taken to increase the support for CSH by the state department of education.
