Internet Access: The Rutland Hotel has wireless and that can be used at 5 pounds per hour. There is an internet cafe called Refresh up Glossip Road from the Rutland. Refresh will sell you a ticket for unlimited (I think)access for 6 days at 10 pounds. The place can be busy, so if you can't get a terminal you can use wireless on you own laptop. They also have other rate deals, so inquire.
Phone Cards: International phone cards will allow people to call home. Purchase from a newsagent for 5 to 10 pounds.

Locations on Conference Maps
On the University map, Thursday's opening reception at the University Arms is 126 (on Western Bank). The University Arms was formerly known as Club 197 and many people still know it by that name (should you ask directions).
Friday's sessions all will be at The University Arms (number 126 on the University map).
On the University Map, Saturday's Shearwood Road sessions are at 74a.
Saturday's dinner: to get to the Rutland Hotel from the corner of Shearwood Road and Glossip Road, walk towards the Hallamshire Hospital on Glossip Road and continue another city block.
On the University map, Sunday's sessions will be at Shearwood Road (74a)
People Staying in Hotels in Central Sheffield:
To get to The University Arms, take the tram from Cathedral and get off at the stop labeled University. Should cost under two pounds each way and faster than a taxi.
To get to Shearwood Road or the Rutland Hotel, take one of the following buses from Cathedral: 41, 60, or 120. Get off at Hallamshire Hospital. Same fare as the tram, I think. You should not have to wait long. Your return trip will require that you get off at Leopold Street, about half a block from Church street and the tram line (your landmark).
