Technical writers are systematic. They know that there is a writing process, which if they follow, good results follow. There is always a temptation to short-cut the process because of the demands of time--or just plain laziness.

1. Think of a process with which you are familiar. You might choose that thing you said you really knew how to do well from the very start of this course.

2. Tell me what happens if you short cut the process of doing this thing.
