The final exam will cover all seven topic areas in the POM module. The questions will be of a similar format as the Practice Exams in the topic areas i.e. multiple choice, true-false and fill-in-the-blank. The questions will be similar to those included in the Practice Exams but also include material similar to the homework assignments. Be sure to complete the Practice Final Exam found below.
The exam will be available to be taken over a four day period from Friday May 3th through Tuesday May 7th. You will used your last name (first letter a capital) as the username and the last four digits of your ID number as your password. You may also need to enter the class username and password if a second login box appears. The exam will be taken during this period even if you have not completed all of your assignments.
The exam is open book (or any other resource). Have a calculator ready before you start the exam. If you are using NAU-PPP through a telephone connection, then click here before you take the exam. If you are using another internet service provider, check with them on time out limits before you begin the exam.
When you log on to the exam, your name and ID number is e-mailed to me. So, do not log on and log off of the exam once you start without completing it. If your connection is interrupted while taking the exam, first try to reconnect and finish the exam. If that fails, then log on again and send me an e-mail about your problem. The first transmission of the exam will count as your official exam. Do not work in groups. Do not copy the contents of the exam. Do not share information with anyone in the class. You are on your honor, and I expect no deviations from these instructions.
There is no time limit set in the testing program or on the server containing the final exam, but you should check with your internet service provider to make sure they do not have a timeout. I would try to complete the exam in less than 1 hour. Do not take more than 2 hours to take the exam. None of the grades on the final exam will be posted until the deadline for the exam has ended.

There are 20 questions made up of multiple choice and true/false. The majority of the questions require calculations. Do not send in Excel files as part of the exam.
