Descriptive graphs are designed to show the shape of the data. Arranged data are much easier to understand and interpret than data presented in a random manner. You will study frequency distributions, histograms, frequency polygons, ogives and pie charts in this topic. In most cases, you will be able to use Excel to aid you in this process.
Objectives:
These are the objectives for this topic:
1. Calculate a frequency distribution using Excel.
2. Use a frequency distribution to create histograms, frequency polygons, ogives
and pie charts.
3. Use nominal data to create pie charts and bar charts.
