Maya Archaeology Field Research Training Program is among the least expensive
field schools in this part of the world. You can enroll for the field
training experience as a volunteer or receive credit from Calstate Northridge.

This fee covers weekday subsistence, lodging, operational, administrative, and non-academic staff costs, as well as governmental, administrative fees. The full Program Fee must be paid to the Project Director upon arrival in Belize, with the exception of $100 U.S., which must be submitted as an application deposit. CREDIT OPTION (only for participants wishing to take the course for university credit) The field school is offered as a full credit course equivalent (Anthro 476 Archaeological Survey and Excavation) by California State University, Northridge. Students recieve credit after payment of tuition fees (see below), and completion of course requirements. Credit students will be graded based on their fieldwork, labwork, notebook, participation, and final exam. Credit students will be sent a Northridge College of Extended Learning application form. This application form and tuition fee must be returned to the Registrar's Office at Northridge before the admission process can be completed. |
