Program Conceptual and Skills Outcomes
Following are the conceptual and skills outcomes addressed through this degree program as evidenced by incorporating a variety of learning theories, instructional strategies, and appropriate technology in classroom lesson plans or into the overall classroom curriculum. Students in ETC 695 are expected to clearly demonstrate these outcomes in their Capstone project.
Concepts
1.1 An understanding and expertise in the use of educational technologies and their integration in diverse learning environments

1.3 A philosophy of technology integration based on theories of learning and experiences in the program

2.5 operating systems and file management
2.6 telecommunication tools
2.7 writing syllabi and lessons plans that effectively integrate technology
Objective
The course objective is to provide a forum for students to demonstrate and disseminate their particular learning and reflection from the MEd in Educational Technology program. At the completion of the course students will be able to, through their projects, articulate their understanding about technology integration in educational settings that reflects the importance of the Learner, Knowledge, Assessment, and Community strands that run through the program coursework. Specific assignments in the course modules are designed to facilitate the students' achievement of the course goals.
I. Development of a program portfolio with the following sections and headings
II. Explore, design, and develop a Capstone Project
III. Peer review, discuss, and reflect on one's own and other's work and projects, using email, and the VCC
IV. Evaluate the MEd in Ed Tech program and and reflect on personal experience and learning
Note: You must acquire FolioLive from the http://www.foliolive.com. FolioLive is an Electronic Portfolio Tool that will be used in this course.
Grading and Assessment
ETC 695 is a Pass/Fail course, based on a rubric that the ed tech faculty review committee uses during your presentation/defense.
Two final copies of all documents will be provided to Educational Technology faculty on CD-ROM, no matter what the choice of presentation.
Grading Standards
NAU and the professional community expect COE to maintain standards that reflect its reputation as a leading school in preparing school leaders. Students in this course will be evaluated on a Pass or Fail basis.
Course ParticipationThis reflects the instructor's subjective assessment of the quality and quantity of your interactions (on-line and face-to-face) with her that may include:
