In this item, you will be asked to respond to the following:

School violence is on the rise with increasing cause for concern in rural, suburban, and metropolitan areas.

How can the eight components of a coordinated school health program potentially provide a comprehensive approach to addressing the psychological and social needs of school children?

In a couple of paragraphs, write how each component could play a part in reducing school violence in the community where you currently reside.

Read the opinions of the other students in the class. What did you learn from the approaches taken by others? Post your response in the VCC entitled "School Violence."
