Objectives:
1. Study textbook and on-line material
for a general understanding of correlation analysis.
2. Interpret the correlation coefficient
using the conceptual formaula.
3. Calculate the correlation coefficient
using the computing formula and Excel.
4. Use the 5-step method of hypothesis
testing to test two-tailed and one-tail hypotheses concerning the population
correlation coefficient.
