§ Statistics Introduction §

Business statistics emphasizes problem solving within applications.  Proofs and other aspects of mathematical statistics are not included.  The entire contents of BA201 (Quantitative Methods) are not included in this course.  Those topics deemed to be the most important for BA501 are presented.

The major topic areas include Descriptive Graphs, Descriptive Measures, Discrete Probability, Continuous Probability, Hypothesis Testing, Confidence Intervals, Correlation and Regression.  But, not all the subtopics usually found for these topics in a business statistics course are presented here.
